A huge congratulations to Ksawery Wisniewski on achieving his Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) blue belt at Team Fulinkazan / SBG Bradford!
Ksawery was promoted by Head Coach Mark “Spen” Spencer, making this a particularly special occasion for both the student and his coach.
A proud moment for coach and student
This promotion carries an extra special meaning because Ksawery’s dad, Danek Wisniewski, is also a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt at Team Fulinkazan / SBG Bradford.
Danek has been training under Coach Spen for an incredible 16 years, having started just before Ksawery was born. Over those years, Spen has guided Danek through every stage of his BJJ journey, from white belt all the way to black belt.
To now have the opportunity to promote Danek’s son to blue belt is a moment to be proud of. Having coached Danek throughout his own progression, Spen was delighted to award Ksawery his blue belt and celebrate the next stage of his development.
It is a fantastic reflection of the long-standing relationships built through martial arts, where training becomes about much more than the techniques learned on the mats. It is about commitment, family, friendship and being part of a team that supports one another over many years.
The journey continues
The BJJ blue belt is an important milestone, recognising the time, dedication and hard work Ksawery has put into his training. It also marks the beginning of another chapter, with plenty more to learn, develop and achieve.
