Kudo Workshop in London

This weekend our head coach and the head of Kudo England Mark Spencer ran a Kudo workshop in London with Danny An Khoi Vu that was hosted by New Wave Academy in Bromley.
In the workshop Coach Spen worked through some of his strategies that he applied at the recent European Kudo Championships in Bulgaria where he competed and came 2nd in the veterans 270+ category.

Well done to Coach Marie on her promotion to brown belt. She has been training in BJJ for over 10 years and is always there to help and support our students. She is a big part of our gym and it gives me great pleasure to give her this promotion. e are a community and having the support and advice from Coach Jason and BJJ Black Belt Danek means a lot.

Silver medal for Coach Spen at Kudo Euros

Coach @spenfu represented Team England at the 2025 Kudo European Championships in Bulgaria, earning a silver medal after delivering two dominant performances. This marks Team England’s first-ever competition, first competitor, and first medal — an incredible milestone and achievement! 🥈👏👏
GKA Dojo 25 year anniversary

Coach Spen had the honour of coaching BJJ at the 25 year celebration of GKA Dojo this weekend alongside some absolute legends.
The line up inckuded:

- Daniial & Kamil from Bear Wrestling
- Spen – BJJ
- Mal Sanchez- Jones and Vilius Tarasevicius – Kudo

Cost will be £5 for one session or £8 for both, we will also be raising some money for Spen’s American Football team in September session as well but there is no pressure to contribute.
