On 13th May 2023 Coach Spen represented the UK and competed in the Kudo World Championships in Japan.
His opponent represented Japan and was a bronze medallist on the 2022 Asian Championships. Coach Spen put on a great performance landing some good throws and rocked his opponent with strikes. Unfortunately he lost by a narrow decision but certainly showed he deserved to be there.
At Yorkshire Kudo (Team Fulinkazan) we are incredibly proud of him. Well done Spen!!
