The UK Kudo Squad for the 2021 World Championships in Japan has been announced and Coach Spen has been selected to represent the UK.
Spen has been training and learning kudo for 3 years and has been practicing Martial arts for 24 years.
In 2022 Spen attended and took part in the Rennes camp black belt selections and fights, then later in the year competed in Rome at the Italian Open where I took 3rd in the largest category.
As a club, Yorkshire Kudo came away with 3 fighters winning medals, which for our first Kudo event felt like a huge achievement.
Spen came away with the most wins and finishes of the UK squad, and was the only person in the UK to grade at 2 international events under Shihan Takahashi.
Spen is planning on creating a video series, social media content and promotional material across our websites where he will also promote any businesses or individuals who would like to support him.
